Geshe Gyalten was born in Lhasa in 1966. He was ordained as a monk in 1990. Since then he has been under the loving care of the great yogi and scholar H.E. Choden Rinpoche. He received his Geshe degree in 2005 from Sera Jey Monastic University in South India. For many years, he has traveled with H.E. Choden Rinpoche, sharing his extensive knowledge of Buddhist philosophy, meditation, Tibetan medicine and yoga. The warmth of his smile has touched the hearts of thousands. He speaks Tibetan, Chinese and English fluently.
